Welcome to Trepson Montessori! Children and families are the focus of our researched based practice in the following ways:
- Children are continuously engaged in activities that meet their specific needs and set the foundation for development to the next stage,
- Children are continuously observed and assessed in the cognitive (including academics), language, social/emotional, physical motor, and health/safety developmental areas to inform the approaches taken with children, and
- Parents/Guardians are supported with learning about how to meet their child’s needs with the Montessori approach in the classroom and provide consistency at home while maintaining family values
